Late this week, on Wednesday, my U.S. Government teacher was going over the U.S. Senate. Such as qualifications, how it operates, its powers. The usual, right?
They then get to the 11th slide, and the contents thereof are about how it's ruled by "old white millionaire dudes". Which, yes, I do concur that The Senate happens to be majority of elderly white men that are wealthy. But the verbally expressed comment they follow up with is what bothers me.
